DESCRIPTION:The special election for U.S. House will be March 10\, with early voting starting February 16. Let’s send Shawn Harris to be our representative in Washington\, DC. Leadership Matters! \nALL CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEERS\, please complete the volunteer form on the campaign website\, www.shawnforgeorgia.com. You only need to fill out this form one time. You will need to complete the campaign canvassing training before going out. (Drivers are encouraged but not required to go through the training.)  \nPolk Democrats will be knocking doors and delivering campaign flyers. Door-to-door canvassing is the most effective way to get the word out about this election and to get voters to the polls. \nIf you haven’t canvassed before\, it’s fun! Get to know your neighbors and remind them about this special election \nPlease wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Wear a Shawn Harris shirt\, or we will have one for you on Saturday. \nWe will meet in the parking lot between McDonald’s and Ingles in Rockmart and carpool to our canvassing neighborhood.
