Polk Democrats | Ride Our Float in the Rockmart Christmas Parade

Come ride the Polk Democrats float in the Rockmart Christmas Parade! We play great music, bring great snacks, and have a great time showing Polk County that DEMOCRATS LIVE HERE. If we have enough folks willing to walk the route, we can hand out candy to all the spectators. Kids are welcome to ride the float.

Our float theme will be How the Grinch Stole Christmas. (Read into that what you wish.) Dress for the weather. Please wear either a Grinch shirt or blue or white top (sweatshirts, jackets) if possible. The roads around the parade route are closed that evening and parking is limited. We will be running a shuttle to the parade staging area. Meet at the Ingles parking lot near McDonald’s, 1100 Nathan Dean Parkway, between 5 and 5:30 p.m. The shuttle will take you back to your cars after the parade.

The parade staging area is at Hilburn Field on College Street. If you choose not to use our shuttle, you need to be at the float no later than 5:45 p.m.
