Fulton County Dems | Fundraising Training

We’re hosting a two-part Fundraising Training that is designed to help demystify the process and give participants the confidence, tools, and practical skills needed to successfully raise money for Democratic causes.

In this training, we will focus on the two fundraising methods that matter most at the local level: phone banking and fundraising events. Participants will learn how to make effective fundraising calls, how to ask for contributions in a way that feels natural and authentic, and how to overcome common discomfort around “asking for money.” We’ll break down why fundraising conversations work, how to frame the ask, and how to follow up successfully.

We will also cover best practices for planning and executing fundraising events, including setting realistic goals, keeping costs low, engaging attendees, and maximizing participation. The training will be held over two sessions via Zoom.
