How can I submit events to this page? Events can be submitted via THIS LINK. Manually submitted events must be approved by the administrator before they will appear on the calendar.

What kind of events are allowed on this site? Any event relating to progressive, liberal, or Democratic activities is welcome to be listed here. If you are not sure, please send an e-mail to the admin at admin@actnowga.com.

How do I register for an event? Every event listing on ActNowGA.com has a link to the site hosting the event. You cannot register for any events directly on ActNowGA.

I made a mistake in my event submission. How can I fix it? Send an email to admin@ActNowGA.com with the details.

There is a mistake in one of your event listings, or an event has been canceled. How can that be corrected? Send an email to admin@ActNowGA.com with the details.

There are already so many sites with event listings, why do we need another one? The fact that there are so many sites with listings is the problem. It’s a great problem to have, of course, since that means there are multiple organizations and groups holding many events. But trying to find all of them normally means scouring several sites and pages. ActNowGA.com aggregates that information and puts it all in one place, so you can find events important to you.

Social Events? Really? Of course! As the northern GA area moves towards solid purple and eventually blue, there are still many people who do not have safe spaces where they can freely discuss politics and current events. Many people can’t openly discuss politics at work, or even at home with family members. Getting out to be with like-minded people is very important for your mental health.
